Christina is a high school English and journalism teacher in southern California. She is a first-generation college graduate, receiving a degree in journalism and political science from the University of Nevada, and she earned her Master of Education and single-subject teaching credential in English from the University of La Verne.
She is passionate about creating engaging, hands-on, and relatable lessons for her students, infusing writing instruction and instructional strategies together. She has presented multiple times at the California Association of English Teachers annual convention.
